Our client, a growing independent dealership with a newly established shop (3 years old), is seeking a talented Shop Manager to join their team. Located in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, this business prides itself on delivering exceptional service across all vehicle brands. As they expand their operations, they are looking for a dedicated professional to help drive their continued success.
This position is created as part of a strategic expansion to bring in an experienced Shop Manager. Our client is looking for someone who can oversee and enhance their shop operations effectively.

Typical Hours:

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM
About the Shop:

Team: Includes 5 mechanics and 2 service advisors

Facility: A modern shop, part of an independent dealership

Services: Specializes in servicing all vehicle brands
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a shop manager, with a background in automotive repair and service writing

Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage shop operations, customer relations, and financials

Responsibilities: Proven expertise in handling repair orders, recon or service orders, and driving business growth
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight: Oversee daily shop operations, manage staff scheduling, maintain equipment, and ensure inventory and safety standards are met.

Team Management and Development: Lead, train, and motivate shop staff, set clear performance expectations, and support skill development.

Customer Relations and Service Excellence: Address customer inquiries and complaints, ensure high levels of service satisfaction, and continuously improve the customer experience.

Financial Management: Monitor and manage shop finances, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue tracking. Prepare financial reports, manage expenses, and find ways to enhance profitability.

Business Growth Support: Work closely with the owner and service manager to develop growth strategies, analyze market trends, explore new business opportunities, and implement marketing initiatives.
